Drink Water to Lose Weight!
Our body is made up of 75% water and hence it is a very basic ingredient which keeps our machine functioning at an optimal level. We need to drink at least 2 litres of water per day at a minimum since this is the basic quantity that is completely used up by our body everyday to keep itself functioning. This water is lost through various means like sweat, urine etc….
If this absolutely necessary quantity of water is not replenished everyday, our body gets subjected to de-hydration which results in below par functioning of various organs. This is sole reason for many dietitians to always recommend drinking good quantity of water even though the food intake is advised to be very minimal…
Just like every other functions of the body, metabolic process is also supported by water and it needs good quantity of water for functioning optimally. In the absence of sufficient water, this process of food assimilation and converting it into energy suffers. This results into lesser calories being exhausted. Hence, the slowing down of metabolic process results into weight loss being affected even more substantially. This is particularly so because of the depleted energy levels of the body which makes the work-outs even more ineffective.
Even the digestion process requires enough water for its functioning and for effectively removing the residues from our body. One is bound to suffer from constipation and several other intestinal problems in the absence of sufficient water. Ineffective digestion process results in lesser generation of energy from the food already taken which prompts our body to request for more and more food since it just wants to build up sufficient energy levels. Thus, the process of adding up weight commences. Absolutely fake and unnecessary hunger pangs are given out by the body which forces you to eat excess food, even if your mind is concentrated on a diet program.

Water!
Do also remember that water is excellent filler. Develop a habit of drinking large glassful water before each and every meal. This water will fill your stomach and you will feel content to eat less for not having much empty stomach. You can check the effectiveness of this logic with your doctor or any expert dietitian. It is a fact that a person will not be able to eat much even if he desires so, if his stomach is already filled with water.
For reaping excellent benefits out of drinking water, do remember that water intake needs to be distributed evenly through out the entire day. If one takes in too much quantity at a single go, the body would simply throw out the excess liquid.
People should also realize that lots of water intake does not result in our body retaining it in full. It is only dehydration that prompts our body to hang on to everything that is made available to it and not abundance!!!
By water, the body is looking for liquids, hence do not confine yourself to just water. Instead do also look out to drink fresh juices too….

I like your information about drinking water. I’ve known much of this stuff for a while, but I constantly need to be reminded. Something that most people don’t seem to realize, and I’m glad you pointed it out, is that any liquid will do, as long as it’s not packed with sugar.
You can also get a lot of water from food, not just fruit but meat also contains water. It’s still important to drink water though, I find keeping a drinking bottle with you helps.
